Uses of Pentasa

Pentasa is a prescription medication used to treat ulcerative colitis in adults. It helps alleviate symptoms such as inflammation, intestinal ulcers, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and rectal bleeding. This drug is a member of the aminosalicylate class and works by reducing inflammation in the colon to manage inflammatory bowel disease.
