Uses of Pataday 0.2%
Pataday 0.2% is a prescription medicine used to treat eye itchiness and redness. It works by blocking histamine, a type of chemical that causes watery and itchy eyes due to allergies. It is available under the generic name Olopatadine. This medication is available in the form of eye drops.
Precautions and Warnings
Do not use Pataday if you are allergic to it. Children 2 years younger should not use this medication.
To ensure Pataday 0.2% is safe to use, inform your healthcare professional if you have a history of eye infections. If you are pregnant, ask your healthcare professional first if Pataday has no significant side effects for your baby.
Dosage/Direction of Use
Remove your contact lenses if you have one. Before applying the eye drops, please wash your hands and keep them clean.
Tilt your head back and create a small pocket in your lower eyelid. Hold the dropper above your eye and squeeze a drop into your lower eyelid pocket. Close your eyes for about 1-2 minutes. Do the same process to your other eye.
