Accu-Chek Aviva Test Strips
In order to monitor your blood sugar levels, use Accu-Chek Aviva test strips, also known as glucometer strips, to transfer a sample of blood to your blood glucose meter. They give you reliable blood sugar readings from the comfort of your own home, allowing you to continue your diabetic treatment. The tiny disposable strips are a crucial part of keeping an eye on and managing your diabetes. Your blood is delivered to the blood glucose meter by the glucometer strips. Certain blood glucose meters also accept blood ketone test strips to measure ketone levels.
How to use Blood Glucose Test Strips?
Here’s how you can use the Accu-Chek Aviva test strips:
1. Ensure that your hands are clean and dry before handling the test strips.
2. Open the vial of test strips and take one out, then immediately close the vial.
3. Insert the strip into the meter with the contact bars facing you and the arrows pointing towards the meter.
4. The meter will turn on automatically, or you can also turn it on manually.
5. When the flashing blood drop symbol appears on the screen, lance your finger and apply a small drop of blood to the green window on the test strip.
6. Wait for the meter to display your blood glucose result.
7. Remove the test strip and dispose of it properly.
8. Turn off the meter by holding down the power button until it shuts off.
Remember to always follow the instructions provided by your healthcare provider and the Accu-Chek Aviva Connect Meter manual for best results.
